![]() ![]() Uhhhh, ok seriously, what i mean is other ''characters''/npcs wont be acting depending on my chars gender? Right. The female portrait (and the 'voice'') doesnt matter either, as it plays no role.Īnd finally, the game wont treat me as a female hot piece of ass and try to rape me in some dark sector of the galaxsy. Krelian wrote:So what ur saying is the char name doesnt matter, coz i can change it to whateva i like. That said I’ve always felt that starting from scratch can give the beast game play that X can offer You know I had no idea what Krelian was on about until i went back to the New game section and read the little bio.as soon as I start a game in X the first this i do is change the name from what ever it was to mine with out even bothering to glance at what the start name is.īack on topic I’d have to say that i too normally choose the "Humble Merchant" option however I’ve spent 2 years (dam is it that long, feels like more ) as said merchant so a little change for me is in order. If I picked the Terran pilot, I'd be that character right up until the name is changed to my own, at which time I'd officially be me and not her. The only actual piece of identifying information that you carry with you is your Player Name and you can set it to anything else you want. There is no picture, voice, or interaction that follows the player around that in any way indicated their race, sex, religion, or otherwise. Thus, i think ill be playing as the humble argon merchant too, ahh, gooooood old Argon. I wish there was a male-terran game beginning though, that woulda be shweet!! Why? Coz X is as much a ''Roleplaying Game'' for me as it is a space-sime, trade&build/thinking and fighting game, and although i loved playing games as Tomb Raider and such (with a Female Star/PC) i can not play roleplaying games as female characters, OFCOURSE ITS *JUST* ME and MY feelings, nothing wrong with doing whateva you like. while doing this hold down 1 or more of the strafe keys, should now be doing spirals if you get it right then the incoming fire will just miss you.Krelian wrote:Personally, i would go with the Terran Pilot all the way, but unfortunately i cant. The best method is the spiral attack easy with a good joystick, use the rudder to rotate the ship on the z axis, use the x and y to keep the ship pointing at the target. Once all the m3's and m8's have been killed concentrate on the m6, you can skip the m3's and take out the m6 first but you MUST take out the m8's before they fire at the station. You need to use your strafe drive to avoid the turret fire. ![]() M3's with turrets, you need to be a bit more careful with these. Falcons are easy just get behind them and keep pounding them until they go bOOooo0000m. Now the easy part is over its the turn of the m3's / m8, you must take out the m8 before it gets to close to the station but if you can take out the m3's first. Fire when the target receptacle is blue and it will do the rest for you.Īccept the mission, head directly for the nearest gate to the station this is where they will spawn.Īs they pass try and pic off as many m5's as you can, dont worry if you dont get them all kill them later. You should by now have mk2 fight software if not get it and press k until auto aim is on. I use a joystick if you are using a mouse then my stratagys may not work/be harder. I use a similar strategy, the ships will head for the station not you use this to your advantage. ![]()
